MUFG Bank, Ltd
MUFG Bank is the largest bank in Japan.
MUFJ Trust and Banking Corporation
The trust banking arm of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group.
MUFG NICOS Co., Ltd
It was established in 1951 and became Japan's first and largest credit company.
As for MUFG Morgan Stanley, it is a foreign-capitalized securities firm which is established by Mitsubishi Financial Group and Morgan Stanley.

MUFG aims for a stable and sustainable increase in dividends per share through profit growth, with a dividend payout ratio target of 40%.
Kanetsugu Mike, the President & Group CEO, is striving towards a sustainable growth. “Currently, we are implementing structural reforms under the MUFG Re-Imagining Strategy, with the aim of overcoming radical changes in the environment and getting the Company back on the path of sustainable growth”.
With 106,800 current employees, Mr Kanetsugu also pointed the attention towards gender equality within the company. The ratio of female managers has increased from 14% to 24% in just 4 years. Additionally, childcare leave is becoming more acceptable. (Info from MUFG)
Job opportunities and application information for MUFG
Unfortunately, MUFG Financial Group itself doesn't hire fresh graduates. However, the company has four entities of which you can choose to apply for: MUFG Bank, MUFG Trust and Banking, MUFG NICOS, and MUFG Morgan Stanley in which they hired (about) 1000 fresh graduates in total in 2018.
Depending on the entity, the application information might differ so please look at the table below for further details. The application period for 2020 has unfortunately closed, but the pre-entry for 2021 has began so keep an eye on their websites for future updates.

Internship Opportunities
MUFG also has many internships available for students who are wanting to experience working in the company. MUFG Bank
- Global Strategy Internship
A three days internship where you will experience the work of a corporate sales representative. You will work on case studies in groups, which are based on projects that are actually handled by bankers.
- General Job Experience Internship
This internship is divided into the Systems and Accounting Department. This is a full two days internship where you will be experiencing the work handled by either the Systems or Accounting Department.
- One to One Internship
This is a one day internship where you can practice your interview skills with an employee from MUFG Bank. You can ask questions and discuss about your concerns, one to one.
- Career Design Internship
In this internship, you will be working with employees at Mitsubishi UFJ Bank. Through two days, you will follow a program that will give you a sense of how the employees of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank are working.
- Digital Internship
A full day internship where you will actively work on actual tasks and issues while experiencing how AI is used in business situations.

- Start-Up Internship
An one day internship where you are expected to discuss ways to create a cashless society in Japan, which will be experienced through a business simulation with company managers.
- Challenge Internship
This is a two days internship that deepens the understanding of the card industry by critical thinking and discussing the payment business. Also, through working on actual projects, you can also learn about Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS' essence of business.
