Why I came to Japan
The opportunity to come to Japan was I wanted to have experience abroad so I decided to go to graduate school in Japan. The reason why I chose Japan was because I was interred in Japanese technology related to semiconductors which I majored in at a university in China, and Japanese culture such as animation. Before I came to Japan, I was only taking a few Japanese classes at the university, and I could hardly speak Japanese when I came to Japan. After entering graduate school in Japan, I naturally learned Japanese.

What is aim
Aiming to optimize plant operations, we are conducting trial and error everyday with big data analysis using AI.
What do I do
Currently, we are conducting big data analysis using a huge amount of operation data such as appropriate amounts and electricity usage fees collected from steel brands and power plants. We aim to derive answers faster and more efficiently than humans in a huge amount of information through big data analysis using AI technology.
This is a difficult task, however with this technology, humans can save time and effort in analysing big data, and it will be possible to respond quickly and accurately to important problems such as equipment troubles.
Some of the data to be analyzed includes a waste power plant, however, in the past I was also involved in the electrical design of the equipment and on site test run work. Various problems occur in the test run, however, the experience of dealing with these problems will be a source of future and I am working on it as an opportunity for myself to grow.

New employee education and training
There has been no gap since I was assigned, and I believe the reason is that there was new employee education and training. Shortly after joining the company, I interviewed the site for three days as part of the training. I learned how to proceed with work, how to handle on site work, and how to communicate. I was able to experience the atmosphere of the site and realized the company’s policy of on site principle

I found out about our company when I saw a job offer for studying abroad students at the university . When I attended the briefing session, there was a former engineer in the Human Resources Department, and I was able to hear about the work of the engineering industry with real experience. I had a clear image of working and I decided to join the company.
